This recipe came about one night when I was trying to think of a new and different snack to serve the next day. The empty plate at the party signaled these rolls were a hit! —Darlene Abney, Muenster, Texas

These rollups are pretty darn good. Made them today for my residents at the retirement home that I work in. most of them liked them as well, and these are fussy people. A few used russian dressing as a dipping sauce, and a few like extra spicy mustard. Gonna make these again.

Very easy and great taste

Really excellent. I used the smaller tortillas so they were smaller diameter, but I cut them thicker. Added a thin smear of Thousand Island dressing. Purchased the expensive deli corned beef and it was worth it! Thanks for sharing!

These are excellent! Use spinach tortillas for St. Patrick's Day

Looks absolutely delish!! I have been looking for new "wrap and slice" recipes and this one has my taste buds watering! Thank You Darlene!!

I've been making these for many years as well (and they were one of my creations as well) I don't use the mustard and horseradish in mine, I use Worch. sauce and a few other spices) I also serve them with Thousand Island dressing for dipping.

These were super easy to make and a family hit!

green tortillas - great idea! Along with the chopped green onions, green chili peppers and green cilantro - all surrounded with white cream cheese - that should make a really attractive roll/pinwheel/wrap! - and not just for St. Paddy's!

These sound delicious. One suggestion for St. Patrick's Day use green tortilla wraps!

forgot to mention that I wrap my rolls in wax paper, twist the ends closed, and refrigerate overnight. I cut them into pinwheels just before serving.

to CalGal44 who asked about other ingredients - definitely yes. I have made them - often - with canned, chopped chili peppers, chopped green onions (lots of tops), black olives, maybe a little sour cream, shredded cheddar, some parsley or cilantro. Occasionally serve with salsa for a dip, but stand alone easily. It's my opinion that as long as you put the softened cream cheese on the tortilla first, you can never have too many of these - pinwheels, as I call them. And I'm NOT waiting for a party to make these Reuben Rolls - I know they'll be wonderful. AND I won't change one shred of this recipe. Thanks, Darlene Abney, for the recipe!

My husband is a big reuben fan. Made these for superbowl party. He had hard time staying away from them

Made if for St Patty's day...Since not everyone likes sauerkraut I made some without. I actually liked it with out the kraut better. I used Boars Head corned beef...it was so worth the extra money!

Served this for a Final Four Game Playoff and it was a "royal" hit. My family asked me to make it for them as a "lunchbox" sandwich. So instead of cutting it in the suggested number of pieces, I leave the Press-and-Seal wrap around it, cut it in half, and slip each half into a sandwich bag.

The first time I made these, I followed the directions and they were delicious. The second time I tried them, I used a smaller tortilla (either 7 or 8") again following the recipe, but this time I warmed them up before serving. They are absolutely delicious when warm. Try it, you'll like it. (^~^)

Everyone enjoyed them and I had no left overs. However, I think they needed more cheese mixture and corned beef. I would double these next time.

I made these, as directed, for a party. They were a big hit. If this is your first time making rolls I have a suggestion. Spread the first layer the cream cheese mix all the way to the edges of the tortilla, this acts as the "glue". When you add the other ingredients leave about a quarter inch border around the sides, except by the area which will be the end of the roll. For that area, leave about a half inch border. As you roll the tortilla the ingredients tend to spread toward the end and by leaving the border your ingredients won't hang over the edge of the tortilla.

I made these for a work party and they were a big hit. I added additional horseradish and a bit of thousand island dressing to the mix, but other than that I didn't change it much. Great recipe.

The recipe was not clear enough about assembly. I have never made pinwheels before tonight. I had to take off half of the ingredients in order to roll up the tortillas. But they taste great!

Made some of these tasty roll-ups for a St. Patrick's day bunko party. They were a big hit, but there were a few left over for my family to enjoy the next day. I think the recipe could be "altered" to include other types of deli-cut meats, cheeses and other goodies. The cream cheese mixture is great! I'd certainly make these again!

THESE WERE GREAT. I MADE THEM FOR ST PATTYS DAY, BUT WILL HAVE THEM AT OTHER TIMES.

i used cole slaw instead of the saukraute and its so good

I doubled the recipe to serve to a crowd of twenty people, and not a single roll was leftover! Instead of making the mustard and horse radish separate, we just used horse radish mustard, and put it out to dip the little reubens in as well. The best part was the compliments I got from people--on such a simple recipe too! :)

I made these appetizers for St. Pat's Day. They were wonderful HOWEVER it certainly doesn't come close to making 8 dozen. It would be impossible to get that many using only 5 tortillas. Must be a typo??

Huge hit at my company's St. Patrick's Day Pot Luck. I used spinach tortilla (to be festive) and corned beef from the deli counter. Everyone loved this and has been asking me for the recipe all day.

I used honey mustard, but everyone loved these.
