1/4 cup prepared Hidden Valley® Ranch

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
3-3/4 cups coleslaw mix

Directions

In a small bowl, combine the salad dressing, mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice. Place the coleslaw mix in a salad bowl; add the dressing and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (3/4 cup) equals 147 calories, 14 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 5 mg cholesterol, 173 mg sodium, 5 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 1 g protein.

Rather than use coleslaw mix I made my own which included sweet onion finely chopped. In place of the mayo, I used Miracle Whip which has a little more zing to it and black pepper to taste.

We all loved this recipe! Even my children who do not like mayonnaise based coleslaw recipes had seconds of this one.

I did add a little more sugar and a little more ranch dressing.

I already have this on the menu for next week. And I am planning on doubling the recipe so that my husband can take some of it to work with him.
