Raisin-Nut Chocolate Cake Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. Bake: 45 min. + cooling
  • Yield: 12-16 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) chocolate cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine the walnuts, raisins and marshmallows; set aside. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, mayonnaise and water. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir in nut mixture.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 10-in. fluted tube pan. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Yield: 12-16 servings.
