 Quick and Easy Spinach Pie

Ingredients

  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
  • 3 or 4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) container feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 10 sheets phyllo dough, thawed

Directions

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Coat an 8 x 8-inch baking dish lightly with
  • no-stick cooking spray.
  • Stir together spinach, onions, eggs, cottage cheese, feta cheese,
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg and dill in medium bowl.
  • Lay one sheet of phyllo in prepared baking dish, allowing ends to
  • hang over edge. Coat completely with no-stick cooking spray. Repeat
  • with 4 more sheets of phyllo, spraying and alternating the direction
  • of each sheet.
  • Spread spinach mixture on phyllo layers in dish. Spray and layer
  • remaining sheets as directed for bottom layer. Turn in edges to form
