Quick Italian Salad Dressing Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. + chilling
  • Yield: 10 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Sugar substitute equivalent to 2 to 4 teaspoons sugar

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid; shake well. Refrigerate overnight. Yield: 2/3 cup.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (2 tablespoons) equals 96 calories, 10 g fat (0 saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 1 mg sodium, 1 g carbohydrate, 0 fiber, 0 protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 fat.
