Awesome! Made these last year too. Big hit. This year I am putting a Hershey Kiss on each one when they come out of the oven... kinda like a mounds bar only with milk chocolate.... Easy Peasy to make!

A snap to make and our kids loved them, a nice peanut-free cookie they can take in their lunches to school

I have sweetened coconut. I can't find a recipe that says sweetened instead of just flaked. should i just cut down on sugar??

these macaroons were ok but don't hold a candle to the best macaroons i've ever had. if you've never had Danny Macaroons, i suggest you try those out and then compare them to these.... once you do, you'll see what i mean. these were ok, but definitely not the best.

I included these in goodie gift bags I made last Christmas, and my mom asked me if I was going to make them again this year. They're crispy, yet chewy, and so easy to make.

Don't get me wrong, these are good macaroons considering that the recipe is so quick & easy - but I grew up eating "real" macaroons made with egg whites. For that reason, these were just a little disappointing...
