This beautiful layered cake has a creamy filling with a mild pumpkin flavor and a little spice. It's quick and always turns out so well. The nuts and caramel topping add a nice finishing touch, but you could also try other toppings as a variation. —Trixie Fisher, Piqua, Ohio

Excellent torte - as one reviewer stated this cake is on the Kraft Foods website along with a video showing how to make and assemble the torte - so easy - Luscious Four-Layer Pumpkin Cake.

I am a FCS teacher and one of my students suggested this recipe for a lunch we were serving. We didn't try it beforehand but it was simple to make and it tasted awesome!!! All of our guests enjoyed it and were impressed with the layers. They thought it looked very fancy. I chose to make it for my multiple family Thanksgiving dinners and the reviews were excellent. The cake is moist and not too pumpkin-y. Very nice alternative to the pumpkin pie for those who don't care for pumpkin pie.

OMG! So easy & so delicious! Made this today as a rehearsal dessert for Thanksgiving. Wow! Only difference is I only used 8oz of whipped topping and it made more than enough filling. It's impressive & tastes amazing. Can't wait to wow the family at Thanksgiving.
