Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe

Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 5

I came up with this rich, creamy pumpkin dip when I had a small amount of canned pumpkin left in the fridge after my holiday baking. It is also great served with sliced pears and apples, or as a spread on zucchini bread or any nut bread. —Laurie LaClair, North Richland Hills, Texas

Made this numerous times now. Easy and everyone asks for the recipe. Used homemade ginger snaps to dip in. Huge hit!

I just made this and my 3 year old just loves it she wanted to lick everything clean. I changed the recipe alittle, instead of using sour cream I use vanilla yogurt, and I added a little clove. So excited for my family to try it tomorrow.. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone :)

This is terrific! Only things I did differently was to add more sucrose sweetener and I made Caramel Whipped Cream, put a big blob in the middle of the dip...Guests dipped through the cream and the dip w/ the ginger snaps...They loved it...

I added a little extra cream cheese and pumpkin and it was great! My husband likes it best with graham crackers.

I have made this recipe several times to bring to gatherings. But to lower the sugar content I substituted the powdered sugar with Splenda (i'm diabetic). It taste great and I have been asked for the recipe every time by several people. I serve it with green apple slices and gingersnap cookies also.

Cinnamon Wheat Thins taste really good with this dip - as do grapes and other fruits. Very delicious.

Makes a LOT! Had to add confectioner's sugar. Just seemed to be missing something otherwise.

Made this for Thanksgiving, and served it with apples & pears. Not too sweet, just right and it makes a large portion so no need to double the recipe (we had 12 at dinner, and there was more than enough dip.) Everyone loved it!!

I took this dip to a Thanksgiving potluck yesterday - it was a great hit! Everyone asked for the recipe! I served it with thin ginger cookies, next time I will try it with fruit.

OMG loved the recipe. I work at a nursing home and we do things with the residents in The kitchen. I chose this recipe because it was quick and easy for them to make. The staff and family members all wanted the recipe.

OMG this was great. Everyone loved it. I work for a nursing home, every month we have a program called Kitchen Kapers. We get the resident together, make cookies, soup and what ever they want to try. This was a great recipe. Easy, quick and very tasty. Definitely had the staff, residents and family members grabbing the recipe.

I make this every fall and most people love it even though they may not care for pumpkin.

Loved the dip. It was too much for the gingersnap combination but i tried it as a spread with homemade banana nut bread and zucchini bread and it completely transformed them into something delectable! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I have been making this recipe for years. My family loves this and request it every Thanksgiving. Very easy and fast to whip up. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Because of the sour cream, it doesn't get lumpy as my previous pumpkin dip recipe would do. People rave about this dip, but I double the pumpkin spices for greater flavor.
