"I collect cookbooks and discovered this recipe while I was in Texas on vacation," writes Barbara Mohr from Millington, Michigan. "The light and puffy pancake really does melt in your mouth! It’s a definite crowd-pleaser that’s as impressive served at dessert as it is at breakfast. My guests always agree!"

I have some blueberries I've been trying to use up and found this recipe. This is delicious! Mine looked just like the picture and the sauce is very yummy. I will definitely be making this again. I may use only 1 tbsp. of butter next time, I'm not so sure that 2 is needed.

The recipe doesn't call for it, but I sprinkled powdered sugar on it!! Makes the plate and presentation much prettier!

Simple. Tasty. Definitely a repeat recipe.I didn't measure the butter, so it was a bit puddly in the center, which may have changed its consistency but it was cooked all the way through. We opted to not do the blueberry sauce this time, but maybe next time.I think this would pair quite well with bacon. Because bacon makes all things better.

love the ease of these german pancakes.Nice change from "regular pancakes". The blueberry sauce is delicious, but because I didn't have orange juice, I substituted lemon-line soda.

I saw this recipe this morning and made it today for brunch for my husband, and I am not sure what happened or how it is supposed to turn out. The sides were raised high but the inside was flat and not very cakey, like the picture. The inside was very thin and had not much taste. You mostly tasted the blueberry sauce. I wonder if that is how it is supposed to be I followed the directions to the letter.

I make this recipe but instead of the blueberry sauce I slice up a banana and a basket of fresh strawberries mix with a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and about 3 tablespoons of sugar and spoon over the hot pancake, delicious!

This is so good but I didn't make the blueberry sauce this time. As in a German puff pancake I used lemon slices and powdered sugar sprinkled over it. So good!

This recipe is so easy and delicious. I didn't make the blueberry sauce but will next time. It was a nice change from the regular pancakes. The kids really enjoyed it too.

This was awesome! The sauce thickens really fast once it starts to boil and tastes delicious. The texture of the pancake was different and the whole family loved it. Will totally make this again!

Next time, I need to double it because after my husband and I and two year old finished it off, we were left wanting more!

I made this for breakfast for my husband & I. It seemed to be filling enough, yet you didn't walk away with a heavy stomache. Loved the flavor. It was a nice change from regular pancakes.

I'm on a winning streak here with my Taste of Home magazine. Everything I've picked out to make has been incredible, and this recipe is no exception. I really didn't think I'd enjoy the orange flavor with the blueberries but I'm happy to report, I couldn't have been more wrong! This is a very simple, quick, and delicious breakfast/brunch dish. I'll be making it again soon. :D

Wow this is good! I just made this for dinner for me, hubby, and our 4 and 8 yr old. I didn't even make the blueberry sauce...this time. I made this for dinner and scrambled eggs, and each of us got 1 serving of the pancake. I must say, it was sooooo good. I usually put a lot of syrup on pancakes, and I was astonished that I did not put any! And no one else did either! It was naturally sweet and good. We ate it with our hands kinda like bread. Will definitely make it again...and try it with the sauce!

Good recipe and I love the blueberry sauce, my whole family did. However The pancakes are not hearty enough to feed all my men folk. I had to make more batter and sauce to feed all 4!
