So easy and made with ingredients that are usually on hand anyway. I had too many apples and wanted to do something with them, and glad I did! Next time I think I'd cut down on the brown sugar. This would also be great with some fresh cherries added in with the apples. Next time!

WATCH your baking time! I left mine in for 30 min. since a few of the apples weren't as tender...bottom crust burnt. I didn't realize a few minutes could make such a difference. The top was delicious;we just scraped it off the crust. I think maybe 350 would work better too.

This apple crisp recipe was spectacular!!!! Best I've ever made! I've been searching for an apple crisp recipe that the topping actually stays crunchy and my search is over! I made it exactly as the recipe says, but I bet this would be good with pears or peaches as well!

Delicious! My family loved this. It's not too sweet, the apples are moist and just the right crunch to the topping. Will absolutely make this again.

Have made this twice. Great flavor without being too sweet. All the extra liquid scared me too but it was fully absorbed. Halved the recipe and was able to bake in a pie dish.
