"A good friend made me these tender chops in a flavorful gravy for my birthday," recalls Meg Griesdorn of Murraysville, West Virginia. "I immediately asked for the recipe and have served them many times since. There are never leftovers," she reports.

I fixed these tonight for first time. Husband raved about them. They are so good. Did not change a thing.

These were excellent pork chops! One of the best-they were fork tender and so tasty. The gravy is wonderful over mashed potatoes. I used 6 bone-in center cut chops and it worked great. I browned them in olive oil instead of vegetable and I added garlic powder, lots of fresh ground black pepper and a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the soup mixture. I will be using this again....and it was so easy too! Thank you!

Yummy! We used water and onion soup mix instead of the can of French Onion Soup. We also almost-carmelized some onion after searing the pork chops and put that on top of the chops in the pan.
