Mine raise. I serve chicken a la king with mine. Wonderful little things. Mine are muffin cup size.
I have had the same problem of the popovers not rising as I think they should. Have not taken time to research what the problem is ...... I follow recipes very carefully. And especially if it the first time to try the recipe. Failure.

I guess I don't hold my tongue right as I cannot get these suckers to puff up. My daughter in law just rolls her eyes at me!!!
