“I live in the Northwoods, and this is a great, hearty dish for brunch or dinner," writes Jan Christofferson of Eagle River, Wisconsin. "It's also tasty made with ground turkey or Italian sausage instead of ground beef.”

Just made this recipe today. My family loved it. I will absolutely make it again. Plus it will be so easy to play with other ingredients to fit all individual tastes and use any leftovers.

I'll make it again, but this time hopefully I won't forget the pizza sauce. You might wanna add that to the directions. It's not mentioned which is why I forgot it.

My daughter loves this recipe, my picky grand-kiddoes love it and I greatly enjoy it when I get to visit. I make it for THEM when they come to see me.
