The sauce adds a great taste to these burgers, but I wasn't impressed with the "stuffed" part...it would have tasted the same and been easier to just top the burgers with grilled pineapple.

Came across this same recipe a couple of weeks ago in my 1970's Betty Crocker cook book. It makes a very tasty burger.

I was just watching "Build A Better Burger Challenge" on foodnetwork and one of the contestants had a pineapple jerk burger, but I can't find the recipe through food network. Your recipe sounds great and I especially like the 2 serving idea since I live alone. I will definitely try this burger and give you a rating...Sounds like it will be fast & easy as well.
