Pineapple Smoothie Tips

Can you make this pineapple smoothie recipe without added sugar?

If you’re looking to sweeten this pineapple smoothie recipe without the added sugar, try using raw honey or agave nectar instead. Fruit is also naturally sweet, so you can try making this smoothie without the sugar first and see if you like it! Otherwise, try more of our healthy smoothie recipes that have no added sugar.

How can you thicken or thin a pineapple smoothie?

If the smoothie is too thin, add more ice or freeze the fruit before blending. If it’s too thick, try adding more milk or juice to get the consistency you want.

What else can you add to a pineapple smoothie?

Add your favorite fruit to this pineapple smoothie! We suggest 1 cup of chopped strawberries, or 1 small banana. If you want more of a tropical flavor, you can use coconut milk instead of the buttermilk. It’s a great dairy alternative—and if you have any leftover, you can put it to use in one of these coconut milk recipes. If you liked this recipe, slot more pineapple recipes into your meal plan.
