You can buy Lactaid milk, tastes fine.Most grocery stores have it in different percentages, skim, 1%, 2%, etc.

I think buttermilk substitute can be made by using 1c milk and 1 Tablespoon vinegar... so... for lactose intolerant, i'd think you could do 1 c soymilk and 1T vinegar....
