Pineapple Orange Slush Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups crushed ice cubes

Directions

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients; cover and process until thick and slushy. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings.

Nutritional Analysis: One serving (1-1/2 cups) equals 95 calories, trace fat (trace saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 2 mg sodium, 23 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1-1/2 fruit.

I use a pineapple/orange/apple frozen concentrate juice drink since that's what we had on hand and added the lemon juice and this made enough for 3 drinks. We will make this again it was really refreshing.
