"WHEN I was a child, my mother often served this salad with multicolored marshmallows sprinkled on top, much to my delight. The marshmallows added a touch of sweetness that really complemented this salad's tangy flavor.

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 can (8 ounces) pineapple tidbits, well drained
- Paprika, optional
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and milk. Place cabbage and pineapple in a large salad bowl; add dressing and toss. Chill. Sprinkle with paprika before serving if desired. Yield: 8 servings.
