Great recipe! I made one change to the recipe. Instead of buying a Pina Colada drink mix, I used 1 c. of pineapple juice combined with 1 c. of Cream of coconut. Not only was it a little healthier, I think it tastes just as good.

This was good, but will not put the extracts in next time. They overpowered the fruit. Not sure if it was a keeper yet.

What a great fruit salad! All you need to do is buy a bunch of fruit, add a few extras and mix it all together. I'm not a huge fan of coconut, but still loved this. It was a big hit with the family.

Followed the advice of everyone and left out the sugar and poured the dressing over the fruit before serving. It was the first thing my dinner guests commented on. They LOVED it and so did we. Definitely a keeper.

This is a very tasty salad! I took the sweet-meter one step higher by mixing the dressing with a box of instant vanilla pudding. Wow! Sweet? yes...delicious? yes. I didn't add the sugar and put about a quarter of the dressing on the salad (as other reviewers suggested). The pudding I served as a "topping". The salad was great and the topping was a yummy experiment.I only gave it 4 stars because, inexplicately, none of the kids liked the salad. Crazy kids!

My daughter's idea: mix the dressing and serve on the side allowing guests touse as they desire. Works great and keeps the fruit from getting soft.

Delicious! Washed the fruit and made the dressing well in advance (left out 1/2 c sugar), chilled all in the fridge. 10 min before serving I mixed it together, adding toasted flaked coconut and fresh minced mint, chilled again until we ate. Next time would only make 1/2 the dressing as there is plenty. We loved this salad and so did our friends! Keeper!

Wow! What wonderful flavor. I made this for a summer party. I enjoyed sitting back and watching people put it into their mouths the first time. They had this strange looks, like "wow, what is on this fruit?!" Everyone loved it! I can't stay out of it. I hope my husband gets rid of the juice before I hold the bowl up to my mouth and drink it!

The flavor of this fruit salad is refreshingly different. If I make it again, I will add only about 1/2 of the can of pina colada mix and will probably not add any additional sugar. The leftover mix went down the drain since the fruit was completely drenched in the liquid and, swimming in all of the extraneous juices, did not look very appetizing to my family.

Delish, I also added a couple different mellons, and sliced a banana in just before serving. I didn't add the coconut extract.
