I made these for church and they were a huge hit. Very easy to assemble.

supervised a 2 1/2 year-old as she made these, and she did great with a minimum of help (though she was a fan of adding 2 buckles!). We used orange tic tacs since I couldn't find Chiclets anywhere. Really cute cookies and so easy.

These went really fast. I had to go buy more cookies and peanutbutter cups to make more. Great to have kids do because it's easy. We used mini marshmallows and butter mints instead of Chiclets.

We could not find the gum either, so instead, we took candy corn and cut off the orange and cut little squares. It worked out great. Everyone really liked it.

VERY fast. I could throw a lot together in a short amount of time. I decided to make the ring around the hat yellow and instead of the gum pieces, just piped black squares to look like buckles. Came out fantastic. They also went faster because hardly anybody can fit more than this cookie in their belly after dinner. : )

Thanks for the heads up on Mini Chiclets at CVS...

Reviewed on Nov. 24, 2011 by Trevib

I made them for my granddaughters and the other children in the family this morning. They haven't seen them yet, but I know they are going to be a big hit! Hint: If you cannot find mini Chiclets gum, cut the regular size ones in half!! Very easy to make :D

this is an amazing desert that is so good! It is a good little treat to make with my kids!

We made these last Thanksgiving and they were a hit! We are making them again this year.

This was so much fun to make and super easy. My son and I will definitely make again for our upcoming family events. We used yellow cake mate writers icing from the bakery isle instead of the chiclets gum it was easy to work with and for moms who don't allow their children to have gum this is a great alternative.

These were easy to make. Had fun doing it and I found the mini chiclets at CVS. They carry the mini ones all year around. Came in a variety pack, but has yellow, green, red, orange and a few other colors in the package. Have fun.....

My 6 year old grandson and I made these last year and we had the best time. It was easy enough for him to be able to help and the kids in his class loved them. We had trouble finding the gum but used part of a candy corn for the buckle. Worked great and looked just as cute! Planning to make them again this year.

It was very easy to put together & took no time at all. The kids in my granddaughters 1st grade went crazy over this.

Kids have been making these every year since recipe came out and they already asked this year! They are able to do them themselves while I'm in the kitchen - its wonderful. Tic tacs are what we've always used too.

The kids especially loved these. I reserved a couple tablespoons of the white frosting and colored it orange. piped dots instead of the chiclets.

This is a great recipe, athough it is not diabectic friendly.

Very cute cookies! HOWEVER... they claim to be Diabetic friendly! WHAT? It's cookies, frosting & candy! Tell me now...does that sound Diabetic friendly to you?

Reviewed on Nov. 08, 2011 by flojim

I made these last Thanksgiving and put them at everyone's place setting. It truly was easy because not every recipe is as easy as it claims to be but these are. I will make them again this year.

These are so cute and easy to make. Couldn't find orange chiclets so I used orange tic tacs. Looked great.

I made these for my kids classes at school. With the peanut allergies we adjusted and used Rolo's instead of the Peanut butter cups. We also used orange Tic Tacs instead of the gum we couldn't find. Very cute, easy to make, fun to eat!

These were so easy to make. I couldn't find chiclets, so I tinted some frosting instead. They came out great!

These were a hit last year for thanksgiving. I plan on making them again this year.

I thought for sure that I had written a review of these last year when we first made them, but I see now that I didn't. (?) These were so much fun for the kids to make, and truly adorable. We were out of yellow food coloring, but the vanilla frosting looked fine on its own. Also couldn't find orange mini Chiclets, so we subsituted with a piece of candy corn on each hat. We will be making these again this Thanksgiving. Thanks for the smiles and fun.
