My husband is in the military, and when he is away from home, it's hard to come up with meals just for myself. After finding I had some leftover items from making lasagna, I came up with this recipe. —Jennifer Juday, Copperas Cove, Texas

Parmesan PointersWhen a recipe calls for shredded Parmesan cheese, use the cheese found in bags in the grocery store dairy section. Shredded Parmesan is often used in salads or soups where the shreds make a pretty garnish. If grated Parmesan is called for, use the finely grated cheese sold in containers with shaker/pourer tops. This type works well in lasagna and casseroles. (You can substitute either shredded or grated Parmesan in equal proportions in your favorite recipes.) If you decide to buy a chunk of Parmesan cheese and grate your own, be sure to use the finest section on your grating tool. You can also use a blender or food processor. Simply cut the cheese into 1-inch cubes and process 1 cup of cubes at a time on high until finely grated.

Really yummy and really easy! I also made it with turkey pepperoni, and I didnt have chives, so i just added a bit more of the basil and oregano.

I made this for the first time last week and loved it... I was not sure if it was meaty enough for my family so I added about 2 tablespoons of crumbled (cooked) italian sausage to each roll after the ricotta mixture, before the pepperonis. i sprinkled the remaining italian sausage over the rolled up noodles before I added the spaghetti sauce! Huge hit!

We loved this dinner! Made it as a pre-birthday dinner for my hubby. Served with a dinner salad. Will make this again. Might try some of the suggestions on here as well.

I have made this recipe alot here lately and gave the recipe out to alot of people.I always triple the noodles,and it is still wonderful.Thanks for sharing a outstanding recipe,that me & my family & friends really enjoy.It is full of flavor.

I did modify it a little. I used cottage cheese, drained instead of the ricotta. Substituted Mozzarella cheese because I don't care for swiss.

I make these for an appetizer. I used small curd cottage cheese instead of ricotta and used turkey pepperoni to make it lower in fat and they were great. My guests loved them!!

I used turkey pepperoni to make it a little healthier. I also used three cheese spaaghetti sauce so did not put the parmesan cheese on it. This was very good and filling.

I have cooked this just for something different and it was very good. You can do some any other ways with this also, such as a spinach and alfredo roll up.

I made this for my 9-yr old son and he LOVED IT! He's pretty picky, so it was a hit. He ate two of them and kept commenting on how 'delicious' it was...I used Mozz instead of Swiss b/c that's what I had on hand. Even my son commented on how 'pretty' they looked. I'm always trying to get him to try new things...Thank you!

I used small curd low fat cottage cheese because I think is creamier than ricotta cheese and I added a little onion powder and garlic powder to the cottage cheese mixture. I used a mixture of mozzarella/cheddar cheese instead of swiss. Its a great twist on the traditional lasagna no matter the type of cheese used in it. Thanks for the quick and easy recipe. I will make it again for guests now that I have tried it prior to. My mother used to say, "you never try a new recipe when you are having dinner guests."

I am not a fan of Swiss cheese. I used mozzarella cheese. Next time I will try it with provolone. I will make this again for sure!
