1-1/2 cups butter, softened 3 cups sugar 5 eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extact 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup baking cocoa 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 package (12 ounces) chocolate-covered peppermint patties
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix
