Peanut Butter Pinwheels Recipe

Peanut Butter Pinwheels Recipe Peanut Butter Pinwheels Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 4

“With four little ones, my time is limited,“ writes Mary Haluch from Ludlow, Massachusetts. “I came across this easy and tasty snack while searching online for healthy munchies for kids. Great for after school, it's really quick to make and filling enough to hold the kids until dinner.“ TIP: To satisfy heftier appetites or to serve as a power lunch, cut each tortilla into fewer pieces or provide one per child. The recipe is easy to increase as needed.

This is a staple in our house. We do not use the granola but put apple cinnamon hot cereal mix on top. MMMM

I try changing it up a bit to match my kids tastes! Here are some ideas... try jelly, raisins, chocolate chips, nuts, marshmallows, banana slices, apple slices... anything they enjoy eating with peanut butter!

If I serve them immediately I heat the tortillas in the microwave for 20-30 seconds before assembling so they are more pliable and easier to roll.

These look so yummy and my kids were anxious to make these. They each took one bite and that was enough for them. My husband and I did not care for them either.
