Peach Cobbler Recipe

Peach Cobbler Recipe Peach Cobbler Recipe photo by Taste of Home Rating 5

I created this recipe myself with a few tips from my mom and grandma. Because it's so quick and easy, this cobbler can be made in minutes to suit any occasion. I've used it for a breakfast fruit dish, dinner dessert and light snack.

I made this last night, I did add a teaspoon almond extract to the peaches, it was such a hit with my family that we will be making it on a regular basis. I love the fact that it uses canned peaches so it can be made year round.

"This is the best peach cobbler I have ever had. I don't normally like cobblers but this one is delicious." My husband's comment after eating this.

I made the peach cobbler and I had to add the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla flavoring, real peaches and a 1/2 tsp. of lemon. That's the taste I am use to. This one is good but not sweet enough for me.

OMG!! How excellent! I added some cinnamon, nutmeg and a tsp. of vanilla to the peaches while in saucepan. Husband said this is the only peach cobbler he'll eat!

This was pretty quick, simple and straight forward. I used real peaches instead of canned. (3 Large skinned and sliced) The family enjoyed it and I will probably make it again next season.

I've not made this yet but certainly am going to try it. I just have a question. Has anyone ever tried to freeze, after baking, that is?

This is the best peach cobbler I've ever had. I made it according to the recipe except for the following changes: I used fresh peaches, fructose instead of sugar, and I used a gluten-free all purpose baking flour with one teaspoon of xanthan gum (binder), and it was out of this world. No changes necessary at an elevation of 6000'. Moist, flavorful, light and fluffy. Thank you for sharing this recipe. It will become a tradition in our house. Tamara
