This is the best new burger recipe we have tried in a long time. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms so we left those out. Great recipe!

While I was making these, I kept thinking, the end result had better be worth it because they are rather time consuming and messy. Just bit into one and yes it was well worth it. They taste amazing. I used sliced baby bella mushrooms because they are meatier and I didn't feel like lighting the grill so I broiled mine on high for 5 minutes each side.

We thought this was especially good! I added a little garlic powder and garlic salt instead of plain salt. A treat! I also spread some BBQ sauce on top as I was grilling.

The BEST burger recipe. I didn't have bacon so I left that out and added 2 gloves of garlic. Thanks for the recipe.

Made these last night. They are ausome!!! My husband never likes to try new things. We had company over so he was forced to eat them. He couldn't get over how good they were. YIPPY The only thing I did differnet was made them in the morning, wrapped each one in clear wrap and cooked them on the grill that night and used different cheese. I think letting them sit like that let the flavors really blend. My Husband wants to have company over again and make them again.

I don't normally like/eat burgers, but this one was excellent. Because I eat quite healthfully all the time, the spluge on these was well worth it.
