The BEST burger recipe. I didn't have bacon so I left that out and added 2 gloves of garlic. Thanks for the recipe.

Made these last night. They are ausome!!! My husband never likes to try new things. We had company over so he was forced to eat them. He couldn't get over how good they were. YIPPY The only thing I did differnet was made them in the morning, wrapped each one in clear wrap and cooked them on the grill that night and used different cheese. I think letting them sit like that let the flavors really blend. My Husband wants to have company over again and make them again.

I don't normally like/eat burgers, but this one was excellent. Because I eat quite healthfully all the time, the spluge on these was well worth it.

I'm pleasantly surprised! I'm not normally a burger lover but this is definitely one for the books. I left out the mushrooms and diced the onions... other than that I stuck to the written recipe. I think it would be good to try olives or mushrooms in it, but its not lacking any kick with just bacon, cheese, and onion.

I haven't made this recipe yet, but I will pare it down some. I will use bacobits, fresh mushrooms, etc., but skip the bacon grease sauteing, using olive oil instead. I will use 2% grated cheese, and sandwich thin buns. I will also use egg substitute. That would make it about 6-7 points ea., estimated, for Weight Watchers.

I cooked this for Sunday Lupper (mid afternoon meal) and got rave reviews with requests to make it again soon. I left off the onions and used Sandwich Rounds instead of Buns also used baby spinach leaves with the burgers. VERY GOOD!
