This beautiful pasta is well coated with a delicious garlic-cream sauce. It's a versatile dish that can be served as a side dish or a main dish. —Amy Sauser, Omaha, Nebraska

Instead of bow tie pasta, I used a garlic chicken tortelloni and it was awesome!!!

This was easy to make. I made some alterations: I used fat free half and half (to reduce fat), added some pecorino Romano cheese at the end (about 1/4 cup maybe?), and already cooked chicken breast strips. I also reduced the amount of pasta (to 3/4 lb of penne) and increased both the half and half and chicken broth. It made a thin but tasty sauce. My family would rather have a thinner sauce instead of not enough. As my 11 yr old son would say, this ones a keeper!

Thank you for this wonderful recipe! I used Land 'O Lakes Fat-Free Half & Half in it and it was just fine. After Lent is over, I'm going to try it with chicken or perhaps some steamed shrimp--Yummy!

Outstanding dish and will be making over and over again. It was quick and easy and is very versitloe that can be modified adding different vegetables. Those concerned with the fat content of the heavy cream could use half and half. IWe are vvery conscious about things like this too. But as long as eating is in moderation the good stuff should be of no concern.

I kept out a couple handfuls of noodels to make it saucier. This is one of the best pasta recipes I've tried in a long time! Also, I used dried herbs & it worked out just great.

ITs a fast and easy dinner recipe/ Very enjoyable, I used milk instead of heavy cream still tasty and alot less fat. (Ill use cream next time, I just didnt have any!)

The recipe sound fantastic, but I'm concerned about using 1 cup of heavy cream, since we're trying to cut back on calories. Would it be just as tasty using fat-free half-n-half?

I used vegetable broth in place of the chicken broth to keep this dish vegetarian. Next time i'm going to add some roasted red peppers (drained and chopped) and increase the basil a bit.

I have made this recipe several times. For a change I used frozen tortellini in place of the box tie pasta. Fantastic! It's great served with chicken or pork entrees and a fruit salad. YUM.......

Bow tie pasta is a favourite in our home and cream sauce is also a favourite. This pasta goes together so nicely, it's a keeper for sure, and one we'll be making many more times.

I add veggies, such as frozen peas and corn. Use less pasta and different kinds of pasta. Delicious

We make this recipe all the time, it is delicious! I originally put the sauce over plain pasta, but now my family loves it tossed with mushroom ravioli. This is a much requested family favorite!!!

The Everyday Italian lady says to add a little pasta water to thin out and incoorporate the sauce into the pasta. I watched her in a video and it really worked nicely.

This recipe has become one of my favorite side dishes, and it's a staple when my husband and I grill out...it's wonderful with grilled steaks!

This is a delicious recipe! However, I use half as much pasta as called for, to make a creamier dish.

This makes a great pasta side dish! I cut the recipe in half to test it out first, and since I'm trying to cut back on fat, I used half and half instead of heavy whipping cream. It turned out delicious!

This is an excellent pasta dish! My grandson, who is 9, absolutely LOVES it, and he's rather finicky! I served it with grilled salmon and glazed carrots. He said "Grandma, that was a million-dollar meal!"Thanks, Amy, I'm sure I will make it often! Kathy
