I absolutely love this creamy and cheesy recipe. I serve it with a side salad and rolls to make a complete meal. —Cindi Bauer, Marshfield, Wisconsin

Yummy, creamy and flavourful. Even the kids ate it! I used a spaghetti noodle and precooked chicken slices and bacon to speed things up.

This is really delicious! Easy to make although cooking the bacon took longer which made the total time about 45 minutes. What we liked about this recipe is unlike a lot of Carbonara recipes which tend to be dry, this has a creamy texture. I also doubled the recipe. My family really loves this. Next time I'm gonna try and cut back on the butter to make this healthier. I used fat-free Half and Half and it worked out really well. I also grilled some chicken breast (1 lb.) and then cut them into bite size pieces and added last. It was really tasty. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for the recipe. :)

This recipe is insanely good! Rarely do I feel the need to write a review on a recipe, but this one is so good I couldn't help it. Very quick and flavor packed! Every member of my family loved it! I did use fresh mushrooms and my sister pan fried breaded chicken to serve with it .

I am SO impressed with this recipe. I made it in a flash and it was gone even faster. Restaurant quality flavor and texture. My changes were just slight and because I had the stuff lying around, but I used fresh crimini mushrooms instead of canned and added some fresh chopped spinach. It was AMAZING. This one slid into the "favorites" folder within an hour. Thanks to the originator for making my day!!!

My fiancé and I make this recipe all the time! We like to add cubed chicken. I usually cook the chicken in the same pan as the bacon (after I drain the drippings) so it picks up some of the delicious bacon flavor. I also like to use farfalle pasta instead of mostaccioli.
