I created this meal when trying to use up a large head of broccoli. My family requests it at least once a week, which is handy because we always have the ingredients. —Lisa Montgomery, Elmira, Ontario

Very tasty, goes together quickly. It tastes healthy, although the kielbasa probably detracts from that....oh so good.

This would have been excellent if I used a better quality sausage. I was gagging on the casing that came off the sliced sausage. The rest of it was great. Very hearty.

I loved this. I used smoked turkey sausage and added garlic. I did not have enough broccoli so also added in cauliflower. It turned out good.

This is really good! My mom thought it would be a bad idea to put in dice tomatoes. We didn't put in diced tomatoes and it turned out really well. This is an absolute keeper.

To DOROS, I use low or no sodium tomatoes and sausage.

I HAVEN'T TRIED THIS, AND MOST LIKELY WON'T SINCE I AM NOT A SALT EATER. WHERE DID ALL THE SALT COME FROM ANYWAY?

This recipe is almost identical to one I found in a magazine several years ago. I made it for 3 servings, substituted 1 link of Italian sausage and one can of tomatoes, added a little garlic, oregano and basil. Fast, simple and very good.

My husband and I loved this. I also used Turkey Kielbasa. I also only used one can of diced tomatoes and added a little minced garlic. Will definitely make this again.

Delicious and easy to prepare. I wasn't too sure the sugar was going to be a good idea, but it provided a slight touch of sweetness that complemented the flavors very well. Thanks for a great recipe!

Very easy -- makes a LOT! I used frozen broccoli and turkey sausage. The onion provides nice flavor. I might try adding garlic or other seasonings next time for variety.

Very easy to prepare. My kids liked it. My husband thought it was a little bland. I will add some minced garlic next time.

This recipe was very simple and easy to prepare. You could get a hint of Italian with the addition of the basil. It makes a large batch and was more than enough for my hubby and myself. I could see this easily feeding a family of four with no trouble. I could also see trying to use garden fresh tomatoes diced when they are in season, along with broccoli. Definitely a recipe worth trying and sharing. I realize many tastebuds differ but ours were happy as is.
