Parmesan Walnut Bread

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1-3/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. In another
- bowl, beat the egg, milk and oil until smooth. Stir into dry
- ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the nuts. Pour into a
- greased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes
- or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool
- for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Yield: 1
- loaf.
