Parmesan Bread
"Wedges of this delicious cheese-topping bread go great with spaghetti and other Italian dishes," notes Diane Hixon of Niceville, Florida. "They also taste special when dressed up with one of the flavorful spreads."

Ingredients
1-1/2 cups biscuit/baking mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
HERB BUTTER:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
or
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil
TOMATO BUTTER:
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 teaspoons tomato paste
Dash cayenne pepper
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients just until
blended. Spoon into a greased 9-in. round baking pan. Sprinkle with
cheese. Bake at 400° for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
In separate small bowls, combine herb butter and tomato butter
ingredients; beat until smooth. Serve with warm bread. Yield: 6-8
