• 1 2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) Nestlé® Toll House® Dark Chocolate Morsels
 • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

 • Preheat oven to 375°F.

Oh my these were incredibly delicious! I used real butter which I think does make a difference and they were perfectly crispy, chewy and sweet. My boyfriend told me not to lose this recipe. :)

Excellent cookies!!! Recipe turned out perfect?a little crunchy, but still chewy. I loved the Nestle Dark Chocolate chips, which are slightly larger than regular chips and velvety smooth! Made them to giveaway for Cookies Across America and for family, but they would be great any time of year!

I love the dark chocolate chips! These cookies were the best. I usually don't add nuts to my cookies as the kids aren't happy about that but I did add pecans to this one. Loved the added crunch! Will definitely use the Nestle's Dark Chocolate Chips again!

Very good cookie, the dark chocolate chips are a nice touch. I don't usually care for nuts in my cookies but I used pecan in those as someone suggested, much better than walnuts (to my taste). Be sure to use soften butter vs melted, since my butter was frozen, I left it in the microwave too long and the cookies were a tad flat! Still tasty :)

I've baked many different recipes for chocolate chip cookies over the years, and always thought the orignal one couldn't be improved upon. That is, until I tried this version with the new dark chocolate chips. Love at first bite!

Thank you TOH, allrecipes.com and Nestle for giving me the nudge to bake up a batch of these good old traditional chocolate chip cookies. They are tender and crips, and a total comfort food. I baked up a double batch and experimented with and without nuts, and with different varieties of chocolate chips. They were a huge hit with the cookies across America campaign. I delivered 12 dozen cookies around my local community to businesses to say "thank you for supporting our community" and the thanks I received in return warmed my heart.

I love the taste of dark chocolate, and was curious to see how it would taste in this classic recipe, since I had made it many times with semi-sweet chips. I really liked the flavor of these cookies; the dark chocolate is a subtle but delicious change. I also left out the nuts, and would probably do the same next time - it's just not my preference in chocolate chip cookies. I decided to make these for Cookies Across America day, and made deliveries to people that that could use a little cheer.

Well, again - the good ole' Nestle chocolate chip recipe never fails to be a family favorite! I made these with the Nestle dark chocolate chips for the Cookies Across America day, and though my kids often don't like me to mess with the classics, nobody seemed to mind this time! Thanks, Nestle for always having great products!!
