This juice is a favorite at our place. I'll often double the batch and send a jar next door to my mother-in-law! I was looking for a way to sweeten lemonade without using more sugar when I came up with the recipe. —Wendy Masters, Grand Valley, Ontario

This recipe looks wonderful. I want to make it, but the amount of water is lacking in the recipe. How much water are other folks using? How much water does Taste of Home recommend?

My MOM was making this back in the 50's, and I have been since I married in the 60's. Thanks for the memory flashback, it is delicious....

I make a similar recipe that we love. In it, I take 1 container frozen lemonade concentrate, 1 tub Crystal Light lemonade flavor, and add those with enough water to fill a gallon jug. I then slice an orange or two and put them in the lemonade overnight. Instead of Crystal Light, you can use two frozen concentrates, but I am trying to diet, so...... I cut a few calories somewhere!
