This hearty entree is low in fat, but full of flavor. I love that you can cook the dried pasta right in the chili. One less pot to wash! This also reheats in the microwave perfectly. —Dawn Forsberg, Saint Joseph, Missouri

I wonder if you could do this in a slow cooker?

Other than being a little bland this was good. Next time I will use hot turkey sausage for a little more kick.

This was very tasty for a healthy recipe and quick and easy with not having to boil the pasta first. Would certainly make this dish again.

Similar to something I make (chili-mac) but with corn instead of beans. plus I add chopped green med. heat chilis. Perfect for this bitter winter we're having! Also, 'pasta' does not mean 'soup'...what do you call spaghetti or lasagna, etc, mac & cheese? NOT soup!

I call it chili Mac Make this all the time, the pasta cuts the spice . My family liked this for years.

Greek yogurt has NO fat & is a perfect substitute for sour cream (try it on a baked potato). I'd probably not use turkey, as I've had a really bad experience with it, and use black beans instead of pinto. Everything else sounds like it would work.

chilimac is not soup and this is wonderful

Had to make too many substitutions to give it a valid test, but the seasonings and basic ingredients worked well. I live quite a way from shopping, so had to use green chilis added to diced tomatoes, ground beef and regular beef broth, and regular macaroni.

If it has pasta, it's soup.
