This is by far my favorite Oatmeal Chocolate chip cookie recipe. Added 1/2 cup wheat germ for some healthiness. Froze what I did not use in logs & baked later. Great recipe!

Just like it says - crunchy outside, chewy inside. I've been searching for YEARS for this kind of oatmeal cookie and I've finally found it!! Don't hesitate - make 'em and eat 'em!!

I halved the recipe and added more chocolate chips. Now I wish I had made the full recipe. My family loves them. I had to tell my kids I had the cookies counted to keep them from eating them all in one night!

Yummy. The recipe does make a huge batch - I found it made over 100. Cooked at 350 convection for 12 mins. I used milk choc chips instead of semi-sweet and used about 2 1/2 cups.

These cookies have great flavor! The molasses and spices give it its comforting flavor. They taste best heated up. I will make them again- great for a winter meal.

I have made these cookies several times. They are delicious! My husband never liked oatmeal cookies until he tried these...now it's the only kind of cookie he requests!

I halved the recipe and it still made a ton. I also added some cranberry craisins I had left and they turned out awesome. My kids loved them.

Perfect cookies! Just the right amount of crunch on the outside and soft centers. Did add a few more chocolate chips and baked for 12 minutes. Perfect!!

 Hello,

Did you happen to use whole wheat flour also in your recipe?

Excellent oatmeal cookie. I made 1/2 of the recipe so that it would all fit in my bowl. I used chocolate chips but will try raisins next time. Loved it.

Glad out of all the 1,000's of oatmeal cookie recipes out there I decided to make these!

They were delicious. To give them a power kick I added 1/2 cup wheat bran, 1/2 cup wheat germ, and 1/2 cup of Flax seed, 1/2 the recommended amount of chocolate chips and then the other 1/2 raisins.

They are a hit (and now backed with fiber)

The only thing I would let people know is this is a HUGE batch, a regular mixing bowl will not cut it, you definately want a large mixing bowl.

Thank you for a fabulous recipe!

The first time I made these, I made them as directed. The second time I made them I added cinnamon and raisins. Both were very good. This recipe is a keeper.
