My family and friends have enjoyed these melt-in-your mouth cookies since I first began making them years ago. I love to bake and try to keep the cookie jar filled. For the holidays, the dusting of nutmeg is a tasty touch. --Judy Burdette Kettering, Ohio

I have been making this recipe for 10 years.I usually end up making it a couple of time during the Holiday season. They are quick and easy to make.I buy snowman shaped cookie plate and add these along with a couple of other of my favorite cookies to give away as tasty treats for friends and family.

I have tried several recipes similar to this one and it is my favorite. It is the first cookie recipe I make for Christmas every year. They are always gone.
