This colorful mixture of bite-sized snack foods, cereal and crackers gets its south-of-the-border accent from taco seasoning. “The recipe makes a big batch, but it always goes fast,” notes Liz Loder of Fox Point, Wisconsin.

Made this last year and everyone raved about it. I will be making it again for my gift baskets. :) I would recommend pouring seasoning into the bowl and toss then lay on cookie sheets.

As I was making this, I for some reason thought, "This is going to taste terrible." Maybe because it didn't look like there was enough seasoning to coat all of the mix. So glad I was wrong. This is delicious!

Excellent! Something a little different than the norm. I took this camping and it was gone the first night!

Oh, my goodness, this is THE BEST snack mix I've ever eaten! So easy to make. My husband loves it!

When made 1st batch while pouring liquid some snacks got overly saturated, too much liquid. In making 2nd batch I poured the liquid into food safe spray bottle and sprayed snacks while tossing to coat. Great results using less liquids.

Great alternative to regular snack mix. The next time I make it, I might try to reduce the amount of butter and oil. I used cheetos instead of cheese balls which worked just as well. When I took this to work, people raved and many asked for the recipe.
