You won’t believe something this easy could taste so fantastic! Crunchy outside, gooey cheese inside...a treat all ages will love. Kids could help wrap them, too. Shirley Warren - Thiensville, Wisconsin

I made these for New Years Eve and they were not a hit. I had quite a few left over. They were very tasteless unless you dipped them in a marinara sauce.

These were amazing!! We all loved them! We dipped them in sweet and sour sauce instead of the marinara sauce and it was yummy!

Made as written, these are really plain and blah tasting, but spicing them up in 100 differants ways, they are delish!

These homemade mozzarella sticks are my latest favorite appetizer recipe for company or anytime. They were a hit for Xmas eve in the midst of my seafood extravaganza with a little pizza sauce to dip them in. Everyone loved them, from the kids to the grandparents. I add a half of a slice of pepperoni and a tiny bit of fresh minced garlic to the wonton before wrapping. I use my deep fryer, makes it quick and easy. You can make these ahead and refrigerate them in a ziplock bag. Great for the holidays!

I added some Italian seasoning inside, then tried these using the baking suggestion from another reviewer. They turned out great. You definitely need to brush the tops with oil or spray with cooking spray, and turn them over about halfway through the baking time.

I sprinkle Italian seasoning over the cheese stick and insided of wonton wrapper before wrapping and sealing. I though it needed some seasoning. Never thought about the eggwash and Italian seasoned bread crumbs - will have to try that!!!!

These were very tasty .. I didn't have marinara on hand so I used spaghetti sauce as suggested but I didn't like that at all. The cheese sticks themselves were great!

These are so easy. And so delicious! Definitely adding to my appetizer rotation!

Here are some baking instructions that I tried. My oven runs kinda hot, so even tho I used 350 you might want to use 400 if your oven is more 'normal.' Spray with Pam or something so they aren't brick hard, and cook for about 10 min then flip and go another 10 min or so. Keep on eye on them, everyone's oven is different!

Along with the cheese I used deli sliced turkey, but you could use pepperoni or chicken or anything!

Try using different dips too, I used ceasar dressing mixed with parmesan and pepper!

Egg-washing and dipping in bread crumbs sounds yummy too, I'll try that next time!
