Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • In a bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 4 dozen.

Delicious. The only change I made was to use half semi sweet and half milk chocolate chips. I also used unsalted butter.

I love these cookies! Way better than the cookies I made before. They stay soft, chewy, and delicious!

I didn't have vanilla pudding so I used white chocolate pudding. It's the perfect cookie to have with a glass of milk!

It is always hard to find the balance between pretty and yummy chocolate chip cookies but I think this is the one.
