Moist Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar

Directions:

Melt chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Add flour; mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 1-1/2 dozen.
