Replaced 1 cup whole wheat flour. 1/2 cup brown sugar and used one big box of vanilla pudding. It still tasted delish.

This banana bread was a hit! Growing up my mom always made banana bread loaves so they have a special nostalgic value to me. I looked online thru many recipes but I opted to go with Taste of Homes and I am extremely happy I did. It was moist and fluffy and delicious. I made the batter in a cupcake tin and 2 mini loaves. It actually took the cupcakes only 24 min to bake and the mini loaves about 35 on 350. Thanks again TOH!

I did not have two pkgs of pudding, so I used one large pkg. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly as written. My husband says it is a keeper! Delicious!

I have made this recipe quite a few times. Try substituting strawberry creme or pumpkin spice instant puddings for the vanilla pudding. Tastes like strawberrys and banana or pumpkin bread. Thanks very much for sharing. It's my go to recipe for old bananas!

This is a very moist banana bread. I made the recipe as directed and it turned out great! I did put foil on top of the loaf for the last 18 minutes of baking because the top started to get too dark for my liking. It's a very moist bread and was a hit in my house. Will definitely make again!

I made this tonight & used Splenda & applesauce instead of oil. 1 loaf I added mini choc. chips & the other was plain (no nuts). Both loaves turned out great!! Very moist & airy. My kids couldn't wait for the bread to finish cooling. Definitely will make again!

My husband has complained that my banana bread was dry and that I should use his ex-wife's recipe!! NOT HAPPENING.. So I have been looking for a very moist recipe. I substituted the 1 C. canola oil with 1/4 C Olive Oil and the 3/4 C applesauce. It was the best and he LOVED IT!! SUCCESS at last

Turned out to be a moist banana bread. Instead of the vanilla instant pudding I used cheesecake instant pudding and still tasted great. Also used pumpkin pie spice because I didn't have cinnamon. End result it was great

Mine was not moist--it was so very dry that I ended up throwing it away. Can't figure out why it was so dry.
