I love to entertain, but with a full-time job, a 2-year-old and another one on the way, I don't have a lot of time. This is one of my favorite quick ways to have a memorable time with others. There's nothing like catching up with friends as we gather around a fondue pot! —Tonya Vowels, Vine Grove, Kentucky

Great basic recipe. We took it over the top by using a whole bag of choc morsels and adding 1/2 teaspoon of instant espresso, plus a pinch of allspice. It was fabulous! In addition to the fruit dippers, I would suggest soft cookies and nuts. We put the fondue in individual small bowls so we could double-dip if we wanted..and we did!! Finally, I did the whole thing in the microwave, doing the coffee first, adding the morsels, then the milk, stirring well after each addition, using a few seconds at a time (30 for my microwave) and watching so nothing scorched. This is now one of my go-to recipes!
