Minty Orzo and Peas

1 cup uncooked orzo pasta 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 2 tablespoons butter 2 cups frozen peas 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint
