This recipe is one of my family's favorites, and I make these treats a lot, especially at Christmas. I have 3 children and 8 grandchildren, and every one of them loves those "peanut butter thingies", as the grandchildren call them!

I have made these for over 10 years but used the tubes of peanut butter cookie dough. Takes no time at all. A few years ago when they came out with the Simply Cookies I cut each one in half and rolled it into a ball for the perfect size. I am all for easy and this is it.

These sound very much like the easier ones I make. I use a roll of refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough, cut into 1" slices and then cut each slice into fourths. Place 1 piece into each miniature muffin cup and cook as directed on pkg. Remainder is the same. I also have the peanut butter cups already unwrapped, ready to place quickly into the hot "cookie".
