Delicious! If you use real chocolate, don't add the honey - it seizes the chocolate.

I used Crisco butter flavored sticks and got flawless results.

Delicious! Mine look just like cinnamon rolls. They almost look better than the picture, and I'm really not much of a baker. I yielded 4 dozen cookies and used melted cream cheese frosting instead of the white chocolate. Shortcut, I guess. And unlike everyone else, I found the dough unmanageably dry, so I added a glug of milk. They're perfect and delicious! I'll be making these a lot.

These cookies were a pain to make and they didn't taste like cinnamon rolls at all. The general opinion of everyone eating them were that the cookies were good, but they just tasted like Snickerdoodles. If all I'm getting out of a recipe are Snickerdoodles, then I'll just drop the cookies and bake instead of spending so much time rolling into logs (which often broke) and spiraling into round shapes. Photo looks nice, but they don't look anything like photo (and yes, I'm an experienced baker).

I made these especially for my daughter who loves cinnamon rolls in general. We do like them but even prefer them better without the white chocolate.

Very nice cookie, I did not have problem making it. However the next time I make these delicious cookies I will probably use a cream cheese icing., My little grandson thought they were delicious!!

Just doesn't measure up to my snickerdoodle recipe.

Yum!!! This has now been added to my Christmas baking list.

Just the right cripness, with softness in the inside.

Admittedly I used margarine instead of butter but the dough was so sticky that there was no way I could have gotten them into ropes even after refrigerating. The dough does seem like it has a good taste but since I couldn't rope them I mixed the spices(with a little added ginger and nutmeg) into the dough. Tried to pipe them out into the shape but they lost it once they began to bake up. They still taste pretty good but aren't very pretty

Read some of the reviews - here's a hint - the dough won't be soft or tacky if you start with cold butter.

Love this recipe! Made it once and tossed out my favorite snickerdoodle recipe! These are great when warm but better the next day - they stay soft thanks to the honey. My family loves them! Don't be intimidated by rope rolling - once you do it, it's simple. I drop them with a cookie scoop, roll into a rope, drop the rope into a pie plate with the cinn/sugar and shake it to coat. Transfer to a cookie sheet and swirl into shape - EASY!

Tips: I rolled the dough into a large ball and cut in half until I had 32 chunks, then put them in the fridge to stiffen a bit. Take out 8 at a time to roll into logs. Otherwise the dough is a little too soft to work with. They turned out perfectly beautiful this way!

Reviewed on Nov. 27, 2012 by northwestmom

The dough was a bit difficult to work with but seemed to do o.k. as long as the log wasn't too thin or they would break when put into a roll. I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the chocolate drizzle. I ended up throwing away the first batch because it seized when I added the honey. I thought my chocolate was old, so we tried a fresh batch. It hardened when the honey was added, so my husband added a bit of shortening until it was a good consistency to drizzle. In the future, I would probably just make a powdered sugar glaze for them. We liked the flavor of the cookies and will make again... with a few modifications.

As other people mentioned the dough crumbled and it was a little confusing in the directions on how to assemble. But all in all they tasted pretty good, I'm not a fan of the icing and the cooking time for my oven just wasn't right so my cookies came out kind of crispy rather than gooey like expected. I wouldn't make again simply because of the irritation I got from the dough breaking so much and being such a hassle. Great taste and look though!

I didnt add the stuff on top and they still turned out really really good

I made these Christmas eve for family and everyone loved them! Instead of using white chocolate for the drizzle, I made more of a typical cinnamon roll drizzle.

These cookies are a NIGHTMARE to make! Just like others said, the dough is way too crumbly and extremely difficult to roll into shape without breaking apart. The taste was fine but certainly no better than regular snickerdoodles. I finally begged my husband to help me finish rolling them and by the time we were done, we didn't even care about making the icing. Never making again!

They actually do taste like mini cinnamon rolls! The dough kept breaking apart when I was rolling them into shape, but I kept working with it. I made my own icing instead of using white chocolate. Going to add the them to my holiday cookie baking list.

Reviewed on Jul. 24, 2011 by lsanders31

OK I guess. They did not keep their shape: even though I refrigerated the dough on the second batch.

Help , when I roll them into the log and I tried to twist them into a spiral it didn't work and then they were just really long and not cookie shaped???!!! What should I do, does anyone have a video on how do do it???!!!

They weren't hard to make and were fabulous!

Reviewed on Dec. 16, 2010 by Fatorfan

I was pleasantly surprised with how good these cookies are! The dough was easy to work with and even though it is a little labor-intensive to roll them, it does work like it is supposed to! The only thing I won't do again is add honey to the chocolate for drizzling. When I added honey, the chocolate immediately seized. I salvaged it by adding shortening, but next time I'll use the white chocolate straight for drizzling. Yummy and cute for a Christmas cookie platter!

We liked it better without the white chocolate. These have a lovely buttery flavour that's impossible to resist.

had my grandsons help me make these because they love shaping dough - and of course, eating cookies! the cookies were delicious, but i think next time, i'll divide the dough into the 30 portions and then chill the pieces so they'll be easier to handle.

like salty1, i used parchment (no problems with that) but i also let the cookies stay on the baking sheets for about a minute and a half before moving them to racks, because they were breaking when i tried to move them immediately. I also used a regular powdered sugar glaze instead of the chocolate, (didn't have enough chocolate)and my gang loved them, adults as well as kids. We will definitely be making these again....and i think next time, i'll try a tiny bit of honey in the glaze.

thanks for this recipe.....it's a winner!

I made these cookies according to the recipe and had no trouble at all. I thought they were very easy to roll into the log and then into the spiral shape. My husband preferred the cookie without the drizzle but I thought they were great with it. Delicious cookie I will definitely add to my collection of favorites.

I made these with my cousins while i was babysitting and we all loved them! They turned out so cute in the cinnamon roll shape!

I am not sure what went wrong. I followed this recipe to the T, but it came out very runny. I had add another 1/2 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of sugar and froze it for an hour to get it thick enough. White chocolate/honey drizzle was A LOT of work. Overall, not sure why my batch turned out so badly. Seems to be other similar cookie recipes that are easier to make and that are tastier.

I don't have much patience for cookies, but I really enjoy these for some reason. They are a welcome change from the standard every day chocolate chip variety.

Reviewed on Nov. 09, 2010 by lorast

these were okay but were hard to roll and stay together. family did not care for. alot of work. snickerdoodles are easier and better.

Reviewed on Oct. 31, 2010 by salty1

I liked these cookies, however I decided not to melt chocolate for the top. I simply made a glaze and used a zip-loc bag with the corner snipped off to make the squiggles on top. I was surprised, however, that the cookies were so thin. Was my batter too warm? Also I used parchment paper instead of greasing the cookie sheet. Could that have made a difference?

Reviewed on Oct. 20, 2010 by bthumann

I didn't roll these cookies in a log, and turn them like the recipe suggests. They were still a-mazing. My frosting wasn't nearly as cute as the picture, either. Something to work on for next time --- because there will definitely be a next time. :)

My family loved these cookies. Next time I will use less baking chocolate and microwave at half power so the chocolate doesn't get hard.

These are delicious!! I had trouble shaping them because the dough was very crumbly but they taste great even imperfectly shaped. I had to add a little cream to the chocolate to get it to drizzle.

We had a really hard time getting the drizzle to work out, we ended up doing something different. When the chocolate would mix with the honey it turned into a brick. Does anyone know what went wrong?

Reviewed on Sep. 25, 2010 by shelleyjCA2AZ

well that stinks doesn't it...but here you can see how much honey and when to use it...1 tablespoon in the cookie dough and the other in the drizzle...

Reviewed on Sep. 25, 2010 by Rhonda Jackson

I am unclear of honey requirements. in this month's issue it references honey but no listing of how much in tha magazine
