"When my husband and I were first married, he refused to eat meat loaf because he said it was bland and dry," recalls Suzanne Codner of Starbuck, Minnesota. "Then I prepared this version, and it became his favorite meal."

This was really easy and delicious. I loved making it in the crockpot. My family also enjoyed and raved about the sauce. I would suggest trying the tip about the foil from another reviewer. My meatloaf stuck to the crockpot a bit, so I will be trying the tip next time :)

This was very good and easy to make. My only complaint was that it was so moist before cooking that it didn't hold the loaf shape very well in the crockpot and flattened out quite a bit. It still tasted great and had great texture. The end result was still a very firm loaf, despite how moist it was before cooking.

Best meatloaf ever and soooo easy! I do like the "sling" idea someone else had and I will do that next time. Not only will it make it easier to get out of the crockpot, I will keep it a bit off the bottom of the crockpot so it dont sit in the fat the entire time.

Great meatloaf! I love that it's so moist and actually has a flavor. And talk about easy!! I popped it in before I went to work and it was done when I came home. Next time i'll double the finishing sauce to have some extra on the side. Definitely a keeper

Have made this several times, super easy way to make meatloaf. I suggest using a tin foil "sling" to make it easier to lift it out of the crockpot. Fold foil into 2 strips, and crisscross in the pot before adding the meat.

This has become my husband's favorite meatloaf. Even better than his mom's! :) Instead of dehydrated onions and sage I use a packet of onion soup mix. So good!
