"When my husband and I were first married, he refused to eat meat loaf because he said it was bland and dry," recalls Suzanne Codner of Starbuck, Minnesota. "Then I prepared this version, and it became his favorite meal."

We really enjoy this recipe--especially with the barbecue sauce on top.

Excellent meatloaf recipe; turned out even better than I expected! Will make again soon!

Should have taken Sweet Em's advice: The meat itself was just okay. Flat and a bit salty. Couldn't eat it without the ketchup mixture. And the ketchup mixture is the part I'll prepare again - but it is sweet, for those not prepared!

This was ok, not a lot going on in the flavor department. Easy to make, used half ground turkey, half beef. I thought the sauce was the best part, my husband did not like it. My dog loved it, but he thinks I'm the best cook in the world.

I prepared this ahead of time, put in a storage bag, popped it in the cooler and brought it to our mountain home to make for guests the next day. They loved it! I loved the convenience. Will prepare this ahead of time for traveling in our motorhome.

Great recipe but I too was worried about it cooking in a crockpot. Kids loved it!

I always thought it was unsafe to cook raw ground meats in a crock pot since the meat stayed in the range where bacteria grows for too long a period. Is this not true?
