This unexpected combo delivers delicious results. The finer the pretzel crumb, the better. Larger pieces won't coat as well. —Tara Szlag, Columbus, Ohio

I have made this twice in the last 6 weeks. Really delicious. Crunchy, but the chicken is tender. My family loves it.

My new favorite way to make chicken! I agree you must use real maple syrup & I too am going to try baking it next time.

Everyone looks at me funny when I say I'm making this for dinner. This came out amazing!!! You have to use real maple syrup though or else you won't taste it. I recommend the darker the better for maple syrup. I have the kids crush the pretzels in a zip lock bag then I put it in the chopper. It comes out finer. I will be making this often as all the kids and adults and older adults like this.

Very good though the next time I make it will add some spicy mustard to the syrup to give it a little kick.

Delicious. I soaked my chicken in the syrup and egg mixture, like someone else suggested, and ground the pretzels up really, really fine so they'd stick to the chicken better. My husband was skeptical when I told him what we were having for dinner and he ended up loving it and asking for seconds.

I may try baking this, omitting the egg, drizzling maple syrup straight onto the chicken, along with just a little melted butter, and then topping with crushed pretzels...and maybe just a touch of cayenne. If it works out, it'll be a fairly mess-free recipe sweet and savory recipe!

Very easy. I let the chicken sit in the maple syrup/egg mixture for about an our to infuse that sweet flavor. The combo of salty and sweet with the chicken was great. The entire loved it. I would probably bake it in the oven next time.

Easy and fast! Never thought about pretzels as a coating but this was tasty. Couldn't taste the maple syrup though.

I love chicken but did not like this combination. If I make again, I would not use the crushed pretzels.
