Lettuce with Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. + chilling
  • Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • Leaf lettuce or mixed salad greens

Directions

  • In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper and cayenne; mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Serve over salad greens. Yield: about 1 cup.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 208 calories, 20 g fat (7 g saturated fat), 35 mg cholesterol, 386 mg sodium, 1 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 4 g protein.
