Lemon and Bacon Kale Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb kale, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounces bacon bits

Directions

  • Heat oil in nonstick skillet. Saute onion and garlic until soft.
  • Add kale, pepper, and water.
  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add lemon juice and bacon bits. Stir well. Serve.
