This is my new go to hummus. So much better than store bought and so versatile. I used a little more than 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 can of garbanzo beans, rinsed. A new favorite in our house!

this is an excellent hummus recipe. I substituted olive oil for the vegetable oil for a more authentic flavor.

What a great recipe! I've been looking for a easy hummus recipe that calls for ingredients I typically have on hand. This is it. I just made my first batch, and it was so very simple. I too, like the other reviewers, just used a 15.5 oz can of beans, and adjusted the oil accordingly. I also added some fresh basil leaves from my garden. The possibilities are endless with additional flavors and ingredients. Now I'll have a healthy dip for my veggies to snack on while at work. Thank you again TOH!

I used olive oil & 1-15 oz can of chickpeas. Ridiculously easy & delicious!

Next time I make this, I will use less oil. At the beginning, it felt like too much, and after I made it, there was oil collecting on the top moreso than normal.

This is the exact kind of hummus I was looking for! Great garlic flavor, and the lemon juice gives it just enough zing. By far the best hummus recipe I've found!
